The most important thing I’ve learned about nudists

“I believe that nudism can be a force for good in the world”. I totally agree with this statement. Nudism/naturism is all about respecting oneself and respecting others, while enjoying being naked for the freedom it provides.

Note: In previous posts, I’ve touched on how talking to nudists changed my perception about nudism. But I’d like to go into more detail in this post.

Since I started writing about nudism on this blog, I would say that the most important thing I’ve learned about people who live the nudist lifestyle — people who go naked in a non-sexual context — is this: Nudists are people too.

I know that’s a “No duh!” kind of realization. It’s amazing what I learned when I said to myself “I don’t want to live my life in an echo chamber.”

Echo Chamber

The nudist lifestyle use to come across as strange to me. “Why would anyone want to be naked?” I thought. But, when  I talked to people who are nudists, I understood why. I now knew that:

Nudists aren’t creeps.*


Nudists aren’t like space aliens from another planet.
